About ASUD
Established in 1968 under the visionary theme “For the Nation,” ASUD is one of the largest student organizations in Dimapur. We provide a platform for students to share their grievances and issues, enabling the union to initiate steps and actions for the welfare and betterment of the student community.
Rooted in the values of unity, responsibility, and social consciousness, ASUD has consistently played a pivotal role in representing and safeguarding the broader community in Dimapur. Our mission extends beyond academics – we are deeply committed to promoting education, cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and social justice.

EBDI (Entrepreneurship and Business Development Initiatives ) is a dedicated wing of the Ao Students’ Union Dimapur (ASUD), established to promote entrepreneurship, skill development, and economic empowerment among the youth, particularly from the Ao community.
Any student, aspiring entrepreneur, or young professional—especially from the Ao community or associated with ASUD—who is interested in building entrepreneurial skills or starting a venture can register with EBDIS.
Registered members gain access to mentorship, training programs, networking opportunities, workshops, startup support, and collaborations with government, private, and academic sectors.
